Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics: Injury report ahead of Game 50 vs Knicks

The Boston Celtics have been hit with injuries hard lately, as they were without four essential players in their last game in Miami.

It’s worth mentioning that at this point in the season, we’re going to see players start taking rest/ management days as the goal is to survive through the playoffs. Boston has a pretty good cushion right now in the standings to allow them to start resting players sporadically before All-Star break.

Marcus Smart is considered day-to-day, per coach Joe Mazzulla, as he’s still managing an ankle injury he took in Toronto. However, Smart said he expects to return in a couple of weeks.

Jaylen Brown is managing an adductor injury that had him miss the last game in Miami. He’s going to be active tomorrow.

Al Horford missed his usual second night of a back-to-back with lower back stiffness. He’ll be active tomorrow.

Malcolm Brogdon missed the last two games for personal reasons. He’ll be active tomorrow.

For the Knicks, Evan Fournier is day-to-day and Mitchell Robinson is out for at least the next month after he underwent thumb surgery.
