The Boston Celtics travel to Indiana for their first game after the All-Star break with the Pacers at the Fieldhouse.
Boston at 42-17 is at the top of the NBA coming out of the break, while Indiana (26-34) is in the middle of the pack but I believe they’ll end up in the play-in tournament
The last time these teams played, the Celtics lost to the Pacers 117-112 in Boston in December just a few days before Christmas.
Both Boston and Indiana are closely ranked with 3-pointers made per game and have the same amount of assists per game at 26.4, tied for sixth in the NBA.
This will be a great opportunity for Boston to alter their lineup in the first game after the All-Star break, as there’s room to play with the utilization of their double-big lineup and this is a great game to test it out in.
There’s really only a few expectations for Boston in their first game back after the break, and it’s to continue playing at a high level with what should be a fully healthy roster coming back from the break.
That said, the Celtics should win this game, as it’s a different looking matchup in comparison to their first one on Dec. 21.
It’s the first game back, let’s see how they look and go from there.
Tipoff is at 7:00 PM tomorrow in Indiana.
