Robert Williams could be making his return to the Boston Celtics lineup as soon as tomorrow in Sacramento, the final game of this long two-week and six-game road trip.

Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla gave an update about Rob, who left the game against the Brooklyn Nets on Mar. 3, and hasn’t been on the court since. Here’s what Mazzulla said about Rob’s progression through his most recent injury.

“He was on the court today working. I spoke to him yesterday and he seemed like he was in a good space. He seemed like he was getting closer.”

Abby Chin of NBC Sports Boston reported that she talked to Rob on Saturday and that he’s been doing extensive 3-on-3 drills, ramping his way back to the court sooner than later.

One thing is for certain, Rob is the ultimate gamechanger and the Celtics could really use him and his abilities right about now.
