Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics: Joe Mazzulla speaks about Jaylen Brown’s recent comments

Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla has done an exceptional job in taking over and leading this team in the aftermath of a summer that began with a trip to the NBA Finals and ending with firing their former head coach in Ime Udoka.

Another thing Mazzulla can add to his list as a first-year head coach is having to answer questions about unhappy players and their potential futures.

All of this, of course, is in regards to Jaylen Brown’s comments to The New York Times and to The Ringer. The interviews suggest that Brown is unhappy with the city of Boston, the Celtics fan base, and certain parts of the organization.

Here’s what Mazzulla said regarding Brown.

Mazzulla is saying all of the right things. But if he wants to make an effort on his part, he can start drawing up more Jaylen-focused plays throughout the game and especially in the closing minutes.
