Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics: A look ahead at the four games remaining in the regular season

The Boston Celtics played 16 games in March and finished 10-6 in the month, still 1.5 games behind the Milwaukee Bucks for the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The top seed in the East is a position the Celtics held for most of this season and at one point was a main goal for them to regain, as Malcolm Brogdon said numerous times that it’s “important” to get the one-seed.

Milwaukee jumped into first on Feb. 27 and haven’t looked back since, finishing 11-5 in March and have five games remaining until the playoffs.

Let’s take a look ahead at the Celtics remaining four games of the regular season:

Philadelphia 76ers

The Celtics first game of the month is on Tuesday in Philadelphia against the 76ers who are three games behind Boston for second in the East.

This game will be the final game of the regular season that the Celtics will play a real contender before the playoffs.

Toronto Raptors

The Celtics play the Raptors twice in Boston on Wednesday and Friday. Regardless of how the C’s go about this game, the Raptors are playing for a spot in the play-in tournament and currently have the same record as the Atlanta Hawks at 38-39.

These two games between Philly and Toronto is the final back-to-back of the season.

Atlanta Hawks

This is the final game of the regular season for the Celtics and it’s at the TD Garden. Unknown who the Celtics will deploy in this game, however, it’s worth mentioning that the last time these two teams played, there was an altercation between Trae Young and Marcus Smart, created by Young when he kicked Smart down low while driving to the basket.

The playoffs start on Apr. 15 at the conclusion of the play-in tournament.
