The Boston Celtics lost their first game of the first round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks 130-122 in what was the first game in Atlanta.

Head coach Joe Mazzulla is an analytics guy and understands that emphasizing certain elements can propel a team to victory.

One of those stats is points in the paint, which the variance was 16 under compared to the Hawks.

The other stat is second chance points, which Boston only had nine to Atlanta’s 23.

Boston will look to improve in these areas.

Game 4 is tonight in at Atlanta with tipoff set for 7:00 PM.
