The Boston Celtics took down the Philadelphia 76ers 114-102 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead on the road on Friday night.
There was a scary moment late in the fourth quarter when Joel Embiid accidentally stomped Grant Williams’ head into the court while he was stumbling over trying to regain his balance after going for a loose ball.
This immediately led Grant to the sideline to stop the bleeding.
After the game, Grant acknowledged that Embiid got him good but that he’s going to be fine.
Jaylen Brown was also on the ground next to Grant during the moment Embiid stomped on his head. Here’s what Brown said about the scary moment after the game.
It was indeed a crazy moment on the court but it’s great to see Grant is fine and will be available in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon.
