Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Malcolm Brogdon explains how Joe Mazzulla admits he should’ve called a timeout in Game 4

The Boston Celtics lost Game 4 in overtime to the Philadelphia 76ers to even the series 2-2 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals as the series goes back to Boston for Game 5 tonight.

The Celtics had 18.2 seconds in the final moment of Game 4 and they did absolutely nothing with it as head coach Joe Mazzulla was hoping his team would’ve pulled themselves out of the hole, which is a strong quality in his coaching philosophy.

Here is what Malcolm Brogdon said about the situation after Mazzulla admitted he should have called a timeout in that moment.

What everyone needs to realize is that Mazzulla is still figuring things out game by game and there isn’t anything wrong with that. He said as much when he was first named the interim, and the team has backed him all season.

Mazzulla will be fine and so will the Celtics. Believe me.

Game 5 is tonight in Boston.
