Former Celtics champion turned ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins has often been criticized for his takes and stances on how the NBA season is unfolding throughout the year. He has grown into an on-air personality that is expected to rant and cause controversy throughout the sport and other medias.
Two months ago on ESPN’s First Take, Kendrick Perkins made a bold statement by declaring the Los Angeles Lakers were going to make it to the Conference Finals. This statement almost made Richard Jefferson fall off his chair.
The Lakers were 37-37 and in a three-way tie for 7th place in the Western Conference when Perkins made his statement.
