In the middle of the third quarter on Sunday afternoon’s Game 7 at the TD Garden between the Celtics and 76ers, Jaylen Brown went for a loose ball that landed him in the 76ers bench, which caused an incident on the court.
When Brown attempted to get back onto the court, Georges Niang grabbed Brown’s knee in an effort to hold him back from getting onto the court. To which, Brown didn’t appreciate and let the entire Philly bench know it.
Scott Foster, however, only saw Brown’s reaction to the situation and was quick to draw a technical foul on Brown. But soon after reviewing the play, he changed the call to a double technical, saying Brown was unnecessarily taunting.
The Celtics host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Wednesday against the Miami Heat.
