Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Jayson Tatum finally feels the love from Celtics fans

It took six years for Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum to truly and meaningfully say it, but he finally has embraced the love he gets from the Celtics fans.

Tatum erupted in the third quarter, finishing the frame with 17-points and hit 4-of-5 of his 3-pointers, setting up a monstrous 28-3 run in the quarter alone.

The four-time all-star, Tatum, finished with 51-points on 17-of-28 shooting, which made an NBA record for the most points scored in a Game 7 ever in the NBA. He also added 13 rebounds and five assists.

Tatum was everything for the Celtics in this game and the TD Garden crowd let him know it.

After the game, Tatum expressed what the Celtics fans mean to him, as they continue to show support for their superstar.

“I can’t express it enough: the genuine love that I feel from the crowd, whether it’s pregame, during the game, at the free-throw line. I’ve been here my whole career. I feel that they embrace me almost as one of their own, that means a lot. And I love being here. I love getting to put on this uniform. I love getting to play big games, put on big performances in front of them, and they feed off emotion and energy, and it’s reciprocated. I can’t express it enough, I just love being here. I love playing in front of this crowd.”
