Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Celtics don’t have time for little mistakes and lost trust, as Rob Williams explains

The Celtics lost their second consecutive game in the Eastern Conference Finals at home to the Heat with the series now transitioning to Miami with Boston down 0-2.

The Celtics fell apart in the fourth quarter of Game 2. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown didn’t make a field goal down the stretch and only Grant Williams played with heart, as the team appeared to have just given up for the second straight game.

During his post game press conference, Robert Williams said that the Celtics don’t have time to be making the types of mistakes that they’re making.

“Just effort and playing the right way the whole game, honestly, in my opinion. And trusting each other, we have to gain that trust and keep that trust throughout the whole game. Time is running out, we ain’t got time for these mess ups.”

The Celtics started the double-big lineup and only used it for a total of five minutes. Rob finished with 13-points, three rebounds, and two blocks in 23 minutes.

Boston needs to play with a stronger sense of urgency and heart in order to win any game in this series.

Game 3 is Sunday in Miami.
