For the third straight year, the Celtics will not have a first round pick in the upcoming NBA Draft due to packaging them in trades for Al Horford, Derrick White, and Malcolm Brogdon, which have proved to benefit the Celtics quite greatly.
In the 2023 NBA Draft, Boston is currently slotted with the 35th overall selection and can benefit from adding a wing and a center for both this upcoming season and the future.
