Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Grant Williams is a player the Charlotte Hornets are interested in

The Boston Celtics are likely to lose a bidding war for restricted free agent Grant Williams this summer.

Grant has averaged 45.1 percent shooting from the field and 37.9 percent from behind the arc during the first four years of his career in Boston.

Over time, Grant has become a legitimate two way, 3-and-D player for the Celtics.

The Hornets have become interested in Grant and might even prepare to send him an offer sheet, as sources told HoopsHype and reported by Mike Scott.

The Hornets haven’t done much in free agency yet besides extending LaMelo Ball and figuring out what the future holds for some of the free agents on their roster like PJ Washington and Kelly Oubre Jr.

It’s worth mentioning that Grant is a native of North Carolina and could enjoy the idea of playing for his hometown team.

The Celtics will have 24-hours to match any offer sheet that Grant receives.
