10-years ago, the Boston Celtics issued a press release announcing the hiring of their next head coach. It turned out to be a young and savvy Brad Stevens, who became the 17th head coach in franchise history.
Stevens led the Celtics to eight consecutive playoff appearances, advancing to three conference finals in a four-year span. His 354-282 regular season record ranks fourth all-time in franchise history and his 38 playoff wins ranks fifth all-time in franchise history.
When Danny Ainge hired Stevens to become head coach in 2013-14, this is the press release that was sent out to the NBA and Boston media.

Stevens has since transferred from the court to the front office, becoming president of basketball operations for the Celtics.
