The Celtics climbed back from being down 3-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals, forcing a Game 7 but unfortunately were unable to get the job done.
Boston has made some roster changes since the end of May, parting ways with Marcus Smart to ultimately land a bigger piece in Kristaps Porzingis.
The Celtics have also moved on from Grant Williams, sending him to the Mavericks for a set of second round draft picks.
Former Heat guard Gabe Vincent signed a deal with the Lakers and opened up about what he and his former Miami team perceived about the 2022-23 Celtics during their seven-game series, as he told The Old Man & the Three Podcast.
“It almost seemed like to me, truthfully, they had something going on over there. Despite our game plan, so much has to go right to win in this league and if you aren’t fully right internally, it shows in different ways.”
I’m unsure if Vincent is wrong or not but I find it hard to believe that an unconnected team could pull themselves out of a 3-0 series deficit to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
