Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum has quickly ascended to the top of the NBA since being drafted third overall in 2017. He’s finished in the top five in MVP voting the last two seasons and continues to get better every year.
Tatum holds basketball camps in St. Louis targeting all ages stacked in different groups for the past few offseasons. He invited 11 college players this year, one them being junior forward Bryce Hopkins of Providence College.
Hopkins led the Friars to a 21-12 record averaging 15.8 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per game for Providence and went on to the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
In his first season in Providence, Hopkins averaged 45.2 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from behind the arc last season.
Hopkins will likely declare for the 2024 NBA Draft.
