Jayson Tatum doesn’t know what life in Boston is like without Marcus Smart, his former and longest teammate on the Celtics.

Tatum will inherit the role of maintaining the culture that was made long before his time in Boston and one that Smart made sure lived on during his nine-year run in Boston.

In a recent interview at the Memphis PGA Tour Pro-Am, Tatum expressed what Smart is going to bring to the table for the Grizzlies.

The Grizzlies are getting a real-deal player in Smart. He’s going to be missed this season in Boston, both on and off the court.
