Here’s what CT Sun Director of Franchise Development and Assistant General Manager Morgan Tuck said about the importance of the Celtics taking notice in them as a WNBA organization.
“Having a NBA organization prioritize and invest in girls’ basketball in this way is really special. We’re excited to team up with the Jr. Celtics program to be able to keep providing youth basketball programming for young girls in Connecticut.”
The basketball camp will run from 8-9:30 AM and include a swag bag that they’ll be able to use later in the evening when they’re at the Suns game against the NY Liberty complimentary of the program that also includes 50% off additional tickets.
This will truly be a special day for all girls attending the basketball clinic. And who knows… you never know who will show up!
