Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla made an appearance at the Jr. Celtics basketball camp which provides an experience for the future champions in basketball.
The Celtics offer 15-weeks of camps in six different Massachusetts towns, 32 clinics that see 3,000 youth ballers, along with many leagues and tournaments throughout the summer.
This summer, Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla made an appearance and delivered a message that was easy for them to understand and use on their own teams in their next upcoming season.
“When you look at your hand, each finger has its own individual role… it can’t fully succeed without the rest of the guys and so teamwork is really important but so is individual performance.”
It was a great message that sat easy with these kids who were amazed to be seeing the Celtics head coach spend some time with them.
