Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum sat down with NBC Sports Boston’s very own Chris Forsberg to talk about his offseason and some of the changes to his team.
Tatum talked about everything from getting a “second, third, and fourth opinions” of getting surgery on his wrist, to how it felt learning his teammates were going to be traded.
The biggest takeaway I had from this one-on-one with Forsberg was what Tatum said about the expectations of his team this season.
“People expect us to win. People expect us to get to the championship… when we don’t it’s we didn’t meet the expectations. We’re a really good team, we have really good players… and that’s how it should be.”
Tatum understands that Celtics ownership and front office are “all-in” on uncovering Banner 18 this season. He’s going to give it everything he has to to raise a banner of his own into the crowded rafters of the TD Garden.
