Jayson Tatum set to hit 10,000 career points

Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum is set to make history as he reaches a milestone in his NBA career. Tatum currently has 9,984 career points and is only 16-points away from joining an elite club.

There’s only been 14 players who have scored 10,000 career points before turning 26-years-old and Tatum will be next on the list:

  • LeBron James (23-years-old)
  • Kevin Durant (24-years-old)
  • Carmelo Anthony (24-years-old)
  • Kobe Bryant (24-years-old)
  • Tracy McGrady (24-years-old)
  • Giannis Antetokunmpo (25-years-old)
  • Devin Booker (25-years-old)
  • Dwight Howard (25-years-old)
  • Bob McAdoo (25-years-old)
  • Anthony Davis (25-years-old)
  • Shaquille O’Neal (25-years-old)
  • Michael Jordan (25-years-old)
  • Chris Bosh (25-years-old)

Tatum is in his 25-year-old season and will turn 26 in March. He’s on pace with the best of the NBA and ranks 14th all-time in franchise history in total points.
