The Maine Celtics earned their first win of the season on Friday night at the Portland Expo on the backs of three players tied to their NBA affiliate Boston Celtics.
Two-way guard JD Davison finished the night with 27-points, four rebounds, 12 assists, and three steals. JDD also set a career-high with five made 3-pointers. Davison is leading Maine with 26.3 points per game and 10 assists per game this season.
Two-way forward Nathan Knight finished the game with a double-double, scoring 20-points and grabbing 11 rebounds. He also made three assists.
Boston’s rookie assignee Jordan Walsh finished with 16-points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Davison, Knight, and Walsh are all thriving in Maine and are starting to show that they’ll be ready for their opportunity when Boston calls them up sometime.
