Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Payton Pritchard joins Paul Pierce in Boston Celtics history

Boston Celtics fourth-year guard Payton Pritchard has been a sharpshooter since his rookie year and his shooting splits of 43/40/87 throughout his career prove that.

On Friday night, Pritchard made six 3-pointers for the second time in his career and it was the 15th time in franchise history a player made six 3’s while connecting on more than 80 percent of them.

There’s only two players in franchise history to do it multiple times and it’s Paul Pierce and Payton Pritchard.

Pritchard is playing a career-high 20.1 minutes per game in Boston’s limited rotation and is averaging 6.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game this season.
