The Boston Celtics have the best record in the NBA at 28-7 and are proving to be the best in the league this season and it might not even be close.

Through 35 games this season, the Celtics have:

• The best record in the NBA (28-7).
• The best home record in NBA (18-0).
• The best record against teams .500 or better in the NBA.
• Tied for the most road wins in the Eastern Conference (11).
• Tied for the best record in back-to-back games in the NBA (5-1).
• The best point differential in the NBA (+10.8).
• The best net rating in the NBA (10.9).

There’s not many teams that can compete with the Celtics right now. In their last game, Boston shutdown the Indiana Pacers who are on pace for the best offense in NBA history.

With the trade deadline nearing, Brad Stevens would like to add a big wing to this team and he mentioned it could come from within their organization. He also mentioned that his front office team will exhaust all avenues necessary to utilize their main resource in the $6.2 million TPE.

The way things are going, however, the Celtics don’t need much more to be successful this season.
