The Boston Celtics have a healthy lead in the Eastern Conference. They have a 41-12 record and a 5.5 game lead with only two games left before the All-Star break.

The Celtics’ record is also the best in the NBA with a four-game lead. In fact, the only reason that Joe Mazzulla isn’t coaching in the All-Star game is because he did it last year and it can’t be done in consecutive years.

The Celtics have been in a great position in the standings all season, but the second half of the season is when it matters the most leading into the playoffs.
