Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Jaylen Brown left hand to be examined ahead of playoffs

Brown finished the game scoring 17-points, grabbing seven rebounds, and dishing six assists in 35-minutes. He also had the main defensive assignment on Zion Williamson, which Brown did quite well with in this game.

The Celtics have seven-games remaining in the regular season, it would be wise for Brown to get his hand re-examined sooner rather than later with the playoffs around the corner.

After Wednesday’s game in Boston against the OKC Thunder, Brown said during his postgame press conference that he has a strained ligament in his left hand and that he’s not too worried about it and he’ll also continue to play through it.

If this is to be true, it would be best for Brown to be shutdown and get himself as close to 100 percent as possible with the playoffs around the corner.

It’s worth mentioning that after Monday’s game in Charlotte, the Celtics will play six of their last seven games in Boston, with their final road game being on Apr. 9 in Milwaukee.

Brown’s defensive versatility paired with his offensive production is essential for the Celtics in the playoffs.
