The Boston Celtics released a lengthy injury report ahead of their final game of the season on Sunday afternoon against the Washington Wizards.
The team held out their top six players on Friday night against the Charlotte Hornets and still won by 39-points with their G League guys on the court.
The Celtics will be doing something similar on Sunday against the Wizards for the final game of the season.
Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis, and Al Horford are all listed as out for rest. Jrue Holiday is out with left patella tendinopathy and Derrick White with a left ankle sprain.
The Celtics will likely lean heavily on their depth like they did on Friday. Expect Payton Pritchard, Sam Hauser, Luke Kornet, and the Maine Celtics to put on a show for the season finale.
It’s also worth mentioning that it will be Mike Gorman Day in the city of Boston, as he unplugs his microphone for good and enters retirement.
