Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics schedule for Eastern Conference Semifinals

The Boston Celtics took out the Miami Heat in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, taking only five games to do it while also being vindicated by eliminating a team that’s had their number in recent years.

Boston is resting up while waiting to find out who their next opponent is going to be as the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic have a seven-game series on their hands in the first round. They’ll play Game 7 in Orlando on Sunday and the winner will head to Boston for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Tuesday.

The NBA announced the schedule for all seven games and included the start times for the first three.

The Celtics went 2-1 against the Cavaliers in the regular season. Boston was on an 11-game winning streak before this game, which is the Dean Wade Game, as he made six 3-pointers to defeat the Celtics by one-point.

Boston also went 2-1 against the Magic, as Mo Wagner scored 27-points and was too much for Boston to handle in this November game.

It’s worth noting that the Celtics will likely be without Kristaps Porzingis, as the reporting is suggesting he could miss the entire second round with a calf strain. Boston should have enough depth to survive a round without him but it’s not going to be easy.

Lastly, the Celtics will have six-days off before their next game on Tuesday.
