Over the years, Jayson Tatum has accumulated many playoff games under his belt with the Celtics– 102 games to be exact- with career averages of 23.7 points per game on 44/35/84 shooting splits with 7.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
Tatum scored 33-points in Game 3, which was the 24th time of his playoff career with at least 20+ points and 10+ rebounds, which is third in NBA history for a player 27-years-old or younger.
This game also marks the 25th time that Tatum has scored 30+ points in the playoffs, which is third all-time in Celtics franchise history with only Larry Bird and John Havlicek with more.
Tatum’s NBA career has always been on the fast track and he has the opportunity to be one of the top players in franchise history, but he needs to add championships to his résumé for that to happen.
