Jayson Tatum has battled through a shooting slump throughout the playoffs, but as he and the Celtics inch closer to the NBA Finals, Tatum has regathered his rhythm and he showcased it in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Tatum recorded 36-points on 12-of-23 shooting overall with five made threes. He also had 10 rebounds, eight assists, two blocks, and one steal in a team-high 44 minutes.
Tatum is the first player to reach those types of numbers without committing a turnover.
Tatum is averaging 26.0 points on 44.4 percent shooting with 10.2 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game in the playoffs. He’s one win away from advancing to his second Finals, twice in the last three years.
