Payton Pritchard has transformed his game as a 3-point shooting specialist into an absolute dawg since being drafted 26th overall in 2020 by the Celtics.
Pritchard really leveled-up this season and he did so while wearing various pairs of Nike’s Sabrina 1’s, the signature shoe of WNBA star, Sabrina Ionescu.
It’s worth mentioning that both Pritchard and Ionescu attended Oregon from 2016-20 before being drafted- Ionescu went first overall to the New York Liberty and Pritchard 26th to the Boston Celtics.
Pritchard claims that the Sabrina 1’s are the most “comfortable” shoe available right now and it’s also the “lightest”, as he named a few reasons why he enjoys playing in them.
“Me and Sabrina are in the same class and we went to Oregon together as freshman, so I’ve known her for a long time. Her shoes are probably the most comfortable out right now. It’s light. I like it.”
Pritchard isn’t the only NBA player who enjoys to play in a pair of Sabrina 1’s, as Dallas Mavericks center, Dereck Lively II, also said it is an extremely comfortable shoe, which he told to Ionescu and thanked her for making them.
Ionescu’s shoes are making their way around the NBA and have a strong reputation as being the most comfortable shoe on the market right now.
These players are flying all over the court in these games and Ionescu’s shoes are proving to be top of the line basketball footwear.
