Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum led the way for Boston in its Game 5 victory to secure their league-most 18th championship banner, winning the Finals 4-1.
Moments after the game, Tatum had the Kevin Garnett “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE” moment by screaming “WE DID IT” into the microphone of Lisa Salters at center court.
At the after party, Tatum was on stage holding the Larry O’ Brien Trophy and a microphone to deliver a message to the Celtics haters that never believed this group could get the job done.
Tatum finished the game scoring a game-high 31 points on 11-of-24 shooting, eight rebounds, and 11 assists in 45 minutes. He’s eligible for a supermax extension that’ll likely make him the highest paid player in the league when it happens.
Tatum is also preparing to play in Paris for Team USA this summer. It’s been an incredible year for Tatum.
