Opening Up The Files On The Boston Celtics

Boston Celtics Injury Report Ahead of Game 42 vs Hawks

The Boston Celtics are on the second night of a back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks before starting their second four-game road trip of the month within the Western Conference.

On Friday, the Celtics had a clean bill of health against the Orlando Magic, winning 121-94, as Boston had three starters score at least 20-points: Jayson Tatum (30), Kristaps Porzingis (23), Jaylen Brown (20).

It was interesting to see that both Al Horford and Porzingis were playing in the same game during a back-to-back stretch. Usually it’s one or the other in the first game with the second game being the rest day.

Boston came out with their injury report and it included three players with questionable tags, but two have been upgraded to out.

Here’s a look at the injury reports for both teams:

Boston Celtics

  • Al Horford: Left big toe sprain, out.
  • Kristaps Porzingis: Return from injury management, out.
  • Jayson Tatum: Left shoulder strain, available.

Atlanta Hawks

  • Larry Nance Jr: Right hand surgery, out.
  • Zacchaire Risacher: Left adductor irritation, out.
  • Trae Young: Ribs, probable.
  • Jalen Johnson: Shoulder, questionable
  • De’Andre Hunter: Foot, probable.

Tipoff at the TD Garden is at 7:00 PM.
