The Boston Celtics believed in themselves by not tanking the final few games of their season for a potential easier route in the playoffs. They’ve since swept the Nets and are about to host the defending champions in a Game 7 at the TD Garden this afternoon.
We’ve already seen a ton of action through the first six games between these teams. And we shouldn’t expect that to end in Game 7 in a win or go home situation for both teams.
Marcus Smart has played in a couple Game 7’s and understands what the atmosphere of the TD Garden can do for them. But for the road team, it’s going to be difficult.
