The Boston Celtics will be without Al Horford for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals due to health and safety protocols that’ll most likely run through Game 2 on Thursday.
It’s worth mentioning that Horford participated in Boston’s final practice and shoot around earlier today. However, it was announced that he was put into health and safety protocols well after the team had their practice today.
There’s definitely something to be said about Horford’s vaccination status. It seems every time there’s a potential vaccination concern regarding the Celtics, it’s Horford at the forefront of it all.
We do know one thing for sure, the Celtics need Horford’s veteran presence on both ends of the court to advance to the Finals.
Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals begins tonight at 8:30PM
