The Boston Celtics acquired Blake Griffin on Friday and it became official today. Griffin led the NBA in charges last year and still has a little left in the tank to bring to the table in Boston.

Speaking to the Boston media for the first time as a member of the team, Griffin spoke glowingly about the Celtics and feels welcome being in Boston, which he admits was a pleasant surprise.

"It's a different atmosphere than I'm used to. In a good way."

Blake Griffin says he hopes to provide stability off the bench and will do whatever it takes “to help this team win a championship.”
