Boston Celtics [interim] head coach Joe Mazzulla is 12-3 to start his head coaching career. He’s leading the team to success by trusting his philosophies in what he sees in his team. The Celtics are winning games in different ways and using their versatility to their advantage, as Mazzulla has said multiple times over the course of the season.
Mazzulla is tied with Chris Ford for the second-best record by a Celtics head coach through his first 15 games of his coaching career. Only Bill Russell has had a better start through his first 15 games as a head coach for the Celtics.
It hasn’t taken long for Mazzulla to climb the ladder in Celtics history.
