Robert McClanaghan is a Rhode Island man who is an athletic trainer for high-profile athletes and more specifically NBA athletes.
He is connected to a recent rape and drugging that happened in downtown Boston and was arrested in Rhode Island on Friday on charges of rape and drugging for intercourse. He will be arraigned in the Third District Court on Monday where he will be charged as a fugitive from justice.
McClanaghan has worked with top-tier NBA talent during his career and has even been mentioned by Adrian Wojnarowski for his different way of training with stars.

According to McClanaghanโs website, heโs worked with Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Derrick Rose, and Russell Westbrook. Heโs also a guest speaker for various companies around the country in addition to basketball programs.
WCVB Boston reported that he also worked with Boston Celtics center Al Horford.
McClanaghan is also a fellow graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School in Rhode Island where Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla attended in the beginning of 2000 and was an assistant coach on the varsity team that Mazzulla was on.
