The Boston Celtics have one of the best bench units in the NBA, but only when they show up to play, that is.

After a disappointing performance all around in their previous game in OKC, Celtics interim head coach Joe Mazzulla challenged his team’s second unit.

As a result, Boston’s bench produced 43-points in Dallas last night against one of the hottest teams in the league.

I’d say they responded well to that, as Grant Williams told Josue Pavon of CLNS Media after the game.
