The Boston Celtics defeated the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night, but at the expense of Marcus Smart, who suffered a knee injury in the third quarter after bumping into Jack Collins.
Smart limped into the locker room with some assistance and did not return to the game for the Celtics. Here is the play below:
The Celtics have already listed Smart as being doubtful for Monday’s game vs the Chicago Bulls.
If Smart is to miss additional time during this second half of the season, it’ll be a serious setback for the Celtics, as they’re in pursuit of Banner 18.
