Boston Celtics veteran Al Horford expressed his gratitude and appreciation for Malcolm Brogdon, who I believe is the difference maker for Boston this season and, we’ll see it tonight vs the Golden State Warriors, at the TD Garden.
Brogdon took on a new role this season for the first time in his career to contribute for a high caliber winning team. In doing so, he’s coming off the bench and is a frontrunner to receive the Sixth Man of the Year Award.
He’s averaging 14.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game this season with 49/45/89 shooting splits. Brogdon is hovering over a 50-40-90 season, which would be the second time he’s achieved that feat in his career.
Here’s what Horford said about his new teammate:
Brogdon and the Celtics host the Warriors tonight for the first time since the NBA Finals. Tipoff is at 7:30 PM.
