Jayson Tatum has been pretty open about not wanting to take rest days or be load managed, despite the strong efforts from the Boston Celtics.
After playing 48 minutes last night vs Golden State, the Celtics have already listed Tatum as OUT with left wrist soreness, which is likely to be true, however, a well earned day off for some R&R is not a bad thing either.
It seems like the Celtics don’t want to use the term “load management” this season. We all know Al Horford typically only sits out on the second night of a back-to-back, but yet the team calls it “lower back stiffness”.
There’s nothing wrong with these guys taking a day off here and there as the playoffs get closer.
We’ll continue to monitor the injury report for tomorrows afternoon game in Toronto.
