The Boston Celtics have been getting hit with injuries in their last few games. Marcus Smart, Robert Williams, Derrick White, Jaylen Brown and even Jayson Tatum have all missed games to recover from lingering injuries in the last two weeks.
Smart and Rob didnโt play in the first night of a back-to-back in Orlando last night, bringing up the possibility that theyโll both play tonight.
Itโs worth mentioning that Al Horford will most likely be sitting this one out, considering his rest schedule on back-to-back games.
White left the Hornets game last Saturday to a neck injury. He also stepped off the court early in last nights games vs Orlando due to his neck getting turned the wrong way. And then in Toronto on Saturday, he banged knees with a player, forcing him to walk it off on the sidelines.
Tatum didnโt play in Toronto, dealing with his lingering wrist injury thatโs been affecting him for almost a year now. He also intentionally fouled in the third quarter vs Orlando on Monday so he could run to the locker room to get evaluated, as he felt cramps and pain in his stomach.
Malcolm Brogdon is ruled as OUT in Miami after missing Mondayโs game in Orlando for personal reasons.
Brown is OUT with adductor management.
Weโll continue to monitor the injury report leading up to tipoff at 7:30 PM at the FTX Arena.
