The Boston Celtics had a busy injury report as recent as earlier this week with four essential players listed as OUT due to injuries or injury management.
As the Celtics prepare to host the Lakers, they have an almost clean injury report, one with no surprises, anyways.
Marcus Smart remains out with the lingering ankle injury he re-aggravated from last years Finals run, last week in Toronto. There’s strong optimism from Smart that he’s progressing in the right direction, but there’s a timetable of at least another week or so.
Robert Williams has been added to the injury report due to a left ankle sprain, which is a new ailment for Rob.
Danilo Gallinari remains out with ACL recovery, although, he’s making statements that suggest he’s looking to play sometime this season.
For the Lakers:
Austin Reaves is OUT with a hamstring injury.
Lonnie Walker is is questionable with some knee soreness.
Anthony Davis is considered day-to-day but it listed as probable vs the Celtics.
LeBron James is questionable with an ankle injury.
We’ll continue to monitor the injury report for both teams leading up to tipoff at 8:30 PM.
