The Boston Celtics (40-16) host the Memphis Grizzlies (34-21) in an early afternoon game at the TD Garden.
This will be the second time these teams meet, with Boston winning the first game 109-106 in November.
The Grizzlies are a fast paced team led by Ja Morant, as Memphis is working on building a trio of Morant with Desmond Bane, and Luke Kennard.
The Celtics are 22-7 in home games this season and are coming off a game that Jayson Tatum scored 41-points in and became the youngest player in NBA history to make 1,000 3-pointers.
They have a ton of momentum on their side in this game, despite being down two starters in Marcus Smart (ankle) and Jaylen Brown (face).
Memphis is 11-16 in road games this year with scoring 116.2 points per game, ranked ninth in the NBA.
This will be a great game to be in attendance for. Tatum is hot and coming off a silent 41-point outing. He’s not going to allow Ja Morant to steal the show in his house that is the TD Garden today.
No way.
Here’s the injury report for both teams leading up to tipoff this afternoon/
