Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum has 32 30-point games this season and only needs two more to break a Paul Pierce record set in 2001-02.

Tatum only needs eight more to break the franchise record set by Larry Bird in 1987-88 with 39.

Tatum has 32 30-point games this season. With his next 30-point game he will tie Paul Pierce in 2001-02 for the 4th most in a season in Celtics history.

Tatum and the Celtics play the Indiana Pacers tonight at the Fieldhouse. Perhaps Tatum will tie Pierce’s record tonight in the first game back from the All-Star break.
