Rob Williams status for back-to-back in question after injury Friday night
The Boston Celtics lost more than just a game on Friday night against the Brooklyn Nets, as big man Rob Williams left the game in the third quarter and didn’t return.
About halfway through the third quarter, Rob was flying through the paint in an attempt to block a shot from a driving Cam Johnson.
In the attempt, Rob rotated his body and took a few steps before jumping and landing awkwardly, grabbing his hamstring and taking himself out of the game.
It was soon announced afterwards that he wouldn’t return to the game, making his status for Sunday’s game against the Knicks in question, which is the first night of a back-to-back, heading to Cleveland for a Monday night game with the Cavs.
