Boston Celtics: Injury report ahead of Game 71 vs Trailblazers

The Boston Celtics updated their injury report prior to tonight’s game against the Portland Trailblazers at the Moda Center.

For the Celtics

Jayson Tatum is questionable with a left knee contusion he suffered after receiving a hard foul from Rudy Gobert on Wednesday in Minnesota. He will be playing in Portland.

Malcolm Brogdon is out with right achilles soreness.

Marcus Smart is available with a non-Covid illness.

Payton Pritchard is out with left heel pain.

Robert Williams will be out with a left hamstring strain he suffered in the third quarter of the Celtics’ game against the Nets last weekend. 

Danilo Gallinari is managing well with ACL recovery and could make his season debut sooner than later by the way his workouts are going. He remains out.

For the Trailblazers

Damien Lillard is probable with a calf injury.

Jerami Grant is day-to-day with a quad injury.

Ibou Badji is out indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic patellar chondroplasty.

We’ll continue to monitor the injury report for both teams leading up to tipoff at 10:00 PM tonight in Portland.
