Boston Celtics veteran big man Al Horford says there’s “definitely a possibility” that he plays tonight in Utah.
Horford hasn’t played in back-to-back games this season as it’s part of his longevity process and the Celtics wanting to load-manage him to be fresh for the playoffs.
Horford finished Friday night in Portland with a 12-point and 10-assist double-double against the Trailblazers.
The Celtics have seen a lot of help from their big man depth recently with Rob Williams out over the last couple of weeks.
That said, it doesn’t seem right to mess with Al’s process at this point in the season with the playoffs around the corner.
We’ll see what the injury report looks like and if Al is on it.
